Ok fellas. The Lelya is finally here.... I pulled it out of the box, slapped a

Leapers 4X32 scope on it with low profile Weaver rings (Needs Medium for

proper eye alignment), filled it to 3,200psi and sighted it in at 13yds. I

checked it at 20, then 40, then 65yds to see how it would group... The

wind was blowing mostly right to left but, it has a tendency to swirl really

bad here at times so, don't fault the gun for the longer groups....I refilled

to 3,200psi, hooked up the Combro and let her rip..... It really looks like

this is going to be another boring, hit everything you aim at EDgun....lol

Since the post is in English, I moved the thread to the US forum where it belongs - Tony

Here are the Chrony results....

5 shots @ 20yds.. I had not yet adjusted the trigger and I pushed that one

shot right. Out of the box the trigger was pretty stiff... It is now nice and

light just like the Matador..

This is CHP / JSB 5 shots @ 40yds... Looks like the CHP's really start to

open up.. One missed the target completely left.. Never was a big fan of

CHP's anyways. No offense Steve...lol

Well it is done.... I sanded down all of the sharp edged lines and smoothed

things out... I didn't bother too much with the inside of the finger holes

because I figured the Bedliner would cover most of the imperfections....

Thanks for the kind words.... This is the first to sell in the USA. Please forgive if the

communication is not correct... I hope you realize the USA to Russian translation is

much difficult..... I also have the Matador in standard and it is the best in the world

I think....

I shoot in the absents of winds..... Really strange that my 65yd

and 80yd group were the same... Should get better with new scope

having more magnification... The reticle is too large and eclipses the 12.7 mm

bullseyes so I can not tell exactly where I am on the target....

These are all Air Arms 10.3gr

First is a 40yd / 36.576 meters 6 shot group....

Yes Eduard's guns are absolutely the best I have owned and some of my guns

are 2X the cost of Eduard guns.... I am amazed every time I shoot them...

Matador has more than 5,000 shots and is still as new.... I am very pleased

with the EDguns....

Thanks for moving this post Tony.... I was having problem login in to the

USA EDgun forum... Looks like everything is working ok now....

I was able to shoot another set of groups.... Some resting on the bench just

to see how tight I can get the groups and the others were shot with my

elbows resting on the bench but gun shouldered.... It really is an amazing

gun....

Oh, boy... And somebody wanted the Walnut stock...

It is not necessary to paint such beautiful wood. Excuse, did not wish to offend.

No offend taken... You are right ... Should not paint

Walnut but, the manufacturer really made the wood

rough and too hard to correct... The black coating is

covering many mistakes made by the manufacturer...

EDgun did not make this wood...

Do I really want to sell this thing?

Well, I guess he did...........

And Lelya 090 is now with me in Oslo, Norway. And she well not be going anywhere soon....

It is truly cool to find that your gun has a history, - and if you don't mind I may continue to update you on 090's further experiences.......

I am a moderator on the Norwegian Airgunworld.org, - and you may find a few pictures of 090 here:

Thanks a lot Jeff...

Lelya 090 has now become a full member of my "harem". I have collected airguns for some years now, - and Lelya 090 is number 31 in the collection of fine guns that I dont think I shall ever sell........

Norway is one of the few countries where there are no limitations on power, - and hopefully we shall see more from Edgun within the near future. If they all have the same high standards as 090, the Edgun brand is bound to be a winner also in this country...

I'll keep you posted........

Thanks.....

:)

Hi guys,

Allow me a little update on my Lelya 090........

I spent the weekend in my summerhouse on an island off the coast of Norway, - and as summer has gone, - there is not much else to do but shoot a little (or a lot ! :smex: )

I had brought Lelya with me in my bag, and set her up with one sandbag only to support in addition to my shoulder:

http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/zocoloco/Guns/ca296b7a.jpg

Some may have noticed that I have changed mounts. I really needed high mounts for eye comfort, and she was much easier to handle after I changed.

My target was set up at 55 mts/60 yds (little black dot on the dock):

http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/zocoloco/Guns/ccce1696.jpg

I managed 10 shots before I was called in for dinner. This is what it looked like through my 3-9x33 Leupold EFR scope at 9x:

http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/zocoloco/Guns/f4f33d82.jpg

A 9x magnification is really not enough for accuracy at 55 mts. The only reason I wanted this scope is to keep the total weight down, - but I realize I may have to try another scope. My Bushnell 6-24x50 Tactical seems to be wanting to have a go with Lelya, - so we'll see what happens......

Anyway, this is what my target looked like up close:

http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/zocoloco/Guns/3bc5c510.jpg

My zero is at 30 mts/33 yds, - so I expected a drop of a little more than 2 inches/5 cm while aiming at the red dot in the center. Pellets were Barracuda Match 4.52 mm, 10.65 grs which I guess Lelya is shooting out at some 750 fps. (I have not chronoed her yet). As you can see I got exactly what I expected.....

The 10 shot group is not sensational, but given the support, the 9x magnification, the distance AND the fact that I had had a couple of Vodkas before shooting, - I am very pleased indeed... :da:

This little sweetie is a true gem that allows for a lot of fun, - virtually without any noice at all......

Congrats ED on the development of this little nasty Russian female....... :xz:

:)
